Who we are
Bancroft is a weekly business reporting service run by Ibad [TBC: legal name, trading entity, registered address and ICO registration number, if applicable]. For privacy questions, contact ibadk3408@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Trial sign-up details: your business name, business type, email address and preferred report day.
- Business data you send us: for example invoice, debtor, placement or activity exports. These may contain names of your own clients or candidates.
- Payment details: if you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
How we use it
We use your data only to set up and deliver your reports, to contact you about the service, and to bill you if you subscribe. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
We use these service providers to run Bancroft:
- AI language-model provider: processes your business data to write the text of your report. Ask us and we will tell you which provider we use.
- Netlify: hosts this website and receives the trial sign-up form.
- Stripe: takes subscription payments.
- Our email provider [TBC: name]: sends your reports.
Apart from these providers, we do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the UK [TBC: transfer safeguards].
How long we keep it
We keep your business data and reports only while you use Bancroft. If your trial ends or you cancel your subscription, we delete them within 30 days, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
