A plain account of what happens to the files you send us.
What we use your data for
Your data is used only to produce your weekly report. The figures are calculated by our own code. The written text of the report is produced using an AI language-model provider, so your data is processed by that provider to write it. Ask us and we will tell you which provider we use.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Apart from our AI provider processing it to write your report, we do not share it with anyone else. The other services we use to run Bancroft, such as website hosting, email delivery and card payments, are listed in the privacy policy.
How it is protected
Your data travels over encrypted connections: HTTPS on this website, and TLS when your data is sent to be processed and when your report is emailed to you. Your figures are calculated by our own code, and the only person who sees your data is Ibad, when setting up your account and when our checks hold a report back for review before it is sent.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only while you use Bancroft. If your trial ends or you cancel, your data and reports are deleted within 30 days, or sooner if you ask.
Certifications
Bancroft is a new service and does not hold any security certifications. We would rather tell you that than imply otherwise.
